Just added 5 Unique Automotive, diecast/small scale, pieces to the collection from this past weekend.

Went antiquing over several days, and found these 5 pieces made by F&F Mold & Die out of Ohio. They were part of a series of cars offered by Post Cereal as mail in “rebates” in the 1960s(?). As always here, station wagons rank higher in Uniqueness than the other vehicles offered. 😁🤷🏻‍♂️

Gearing up here for the annual Professional Car Society Micro Meet held in Mt Airy Maryland next weekend.

In the cold of February and March, it’s tough in our area to get your real 1:1 collector cars out, so why not have a Micro Meet and bring out all your Professional Car models, miniatures, and more? What showroom car(s) should I take?

Been adding a few Unique Automotive Toys to the collection recently.

These two Midget-Marx Cement Mixers, and two ambulances by Matchbox and Corgi were all recently added. The ambulances are great additions to the collection, and the Marx Mixers are really Unique in that I didn’t even know there was a Midget-Marx line of toys until I saw these at an antique store recently.

Blueprints from the James Cunningham, Son & Co were a big win! The blueprints appear to be older reproductions, but also included in the lot were 3 sheets of unused Cunningham vellum. A most excellent bonus!

A step out of our comfort zone here.
A true Unique Automotive adventure.

First time collecting matchbooks, but I saw a few Unique Automotive related matchbooks brought the bag, figured I’d try.

Only a couple of Auto or Transportation related books, but also a few Funeral Home ads. Not as many as I’d like, but not a complete strike out. I’d do it again.

We have another great set of Unique, vintage Automotive books, that was included in this most recent auction win. This time, it’s a group of Ford Field guides from 1946!

Some incredible vintage ads, tech articles, aftermarket parts, and even an article on the post-war ramp up of sales. Can you imagine, close to 3,300 Ford car and trucks being produced daily!

I do love the old advertising, and the blueprints are most excellent! Still trying to determine an age on them, they may not be original blueprints but they are very old copies for sure!

Just added another local show to our calendar.

If you’re anywhere near Sharon Pennsylvania, put this one on your calendar. This is the 3rd year for this most excellent local show.

Unique for sure!

I’ve always loved the Poison ☠️ Pinto from the day it was released in the mid 1970s. Who wouldn’t love a hot rodded, Ford Pinto, Wagon, an I right? Put it up on a 4x4 chassis and it’s a win-win build!

Recently released in this two pack with Rodger Dodger, it was a must have. With only minor tweaks from the original (last pic) it has stayed an absolute favorite!
