Droppie [venera] 🐨♀🌈🐧​🦘<p>Some months ago i discovered that all <a href="https://venera.social/search?tag=Spooks" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Spooks</span></a> series are available on <a href="https://venera.social/search?tag=SBSOnDemand" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>SBSOnDemand</span></a>. A few nights ago i began streaming it, my first time since it was <em>broadcast</em> in Straya in the early Oughties. OMZ!</p><ul><li>the violence is still extremely confronting</li><li>it's very challenging to rewatch it now, aware of how badly the world has gone even further down the toilet in the intervening decades</li><li>those two negatives noted, it feels simply delightful to reacquaint myself with much loved characters from way back when</li><li>one such appeared in two S1 eps, &amp; at his initial appearance we heard him before we saw him. At the very first strains of his distinctive voice i sat bolt upright, giggled &amp; clapped like a loony, then more so once his face was revealed. I just adore the exceedingly accomplished <a href="https://venera.social/search?tag=HughLaurie" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>HughLaurie</span></a>.</li><li>another such has just made her debut now, early in S2 E2, &amp; again i giggled &amp; clapped. She entered the meeting room in the most <a href="https://venera.social/search?tag=Ruthie" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Ruthie</span></a> way possible; late, flustered, holding far too many files &amp; papers pressed to her chest which she predictably dropped clumsily, &amp; already manifesting that wonderful distinctive half-smile nervous disposition &amp; inappropriately exuberant demeanour.
