Jo the Neenish TartI've been reading about birds and stumbled on the Ayam Bekisar, a hybrid of the red junglefowl and green junglefowl, both ancestors of the domestic chicken. The people of the Sundar Islands used Bekisar roosters as "symbolic or spiritual mascots on outrigger canoes," which led to them spreading far and wide. I knew the Dutch version was called Vaiana, but I didn't realise that even in English they changed the name. Even in the songs they changed it. It's something about a copyright conflict in Europe, though I am not sure of exact details.
