thezerobit<p>Watching a (non-glitched) <a href="https://anticapitalist.party/tags/speedrun" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>speedrun</span></a> of a hard <a href="https://anticapitalist.party/tags/NES" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>NES</span></a> game is a great way to improve your own ability to play the game. I thought <a href="https://anticapitalist.party/tags/Contra" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Contra</span></a> was beyond my capability to beat, until I watched a single speed run. After watching it, I was able to beat the game on the next try (using the <a href="https://anticapitalist.party/tags/KonamiCode" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>KonamiCode</span></a> to get 30 lives) with plenty of lives to spare. After that I stopped using the code and just played with 3 lives. After a few tries, I beat it with 3 lives. This all happened over the course of a few hours.</p>
