Ich lese, dass jetzt alle #WhatsApp, #instagram und #Facebook löschen und frage mich dann, warum jetzt?

Meta verstößt immer schon gegen die DSGVO und sämtliche Kontakte aus Adressbüchern werden an Meta übermittelt, auch wenn die Kontakte gar nicht bei Meta sind.
Die Nutzenden bestätigen, dass alle Kontakte einverstanden sind und das hat wohl niemand nachgefragt! Also macht man sich strafbar!

Das war für mich immer der Grund, diese Apps nicht zu benutzen und ich habe sie nie gebraucht.

Petit retour d'expérience de 11 mois passé sur le forum des #SaccageOuinOuin de #ClermontFerrand avec un compte créé pour l'occasion (je n'utilise pas #Facebook autrement).

Là-bas, il faut avoir les nerfs solides, il n'est pas toujours facile de lire les propos incroyablement violents tenus par certains, bizarrement jamais remis en question par l’administrateur-modérateur local.

C'est très difficile de toujours écrire en marchant sur des œufs pour ne pas froisser son dictateur-bienveillant quand on n'a pas la même opinion que lui.

the tone of ‘careless people’ by sarah wynn-williams - a memoir about her time at facebook - is light, conversational, often self-deprecating and at times simply funny, but the content isn’t.

in hindsight, i believe the power of ‘careless people’ lies in this ‘light’ tone. it reminds me of a quote from the art of war: all warfare is deception.

In the middle of the night, there were numerous attempts to get Facebook accounts created for randomly generated usernames for my domain. The emails all provided different confirmation code numbers and different fake Chinese-sounding names.

It didn't work. And I am not happy that Facebook didn't catch that it was rapid-fire emailing me numerous requests to confirm accounts.

Emails with confirmation codes for fake usernames at my domain. The emails did come from Facebook, and were reported back to them as phishing attempts.
