(I mean - if you don't want to win a race, then lifting half a kilogram is easy, even for a 3" quadcopter)</p><p>But yes, regulation killed that hobby in germany.</p><p>not allowed to fly FPV without spotter (not even with a tinywhoop)<br>VTX must be kept below 25mW (that's called 'pit mode' in other countries)<br>max-height 150m afair<br>above 250g is restricted even further<br>and you're not allowed to fly in cities (map is near-completely red hier) OR on the countryside (everything is Landschaftsschutzgebiet or Agrarfläche)</p><p>Thank the <a href="https://dresden.network/tags/Schei%C3%9Fverein" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>Scheißverein</span></a> <a href="https://dresden.network/tags/DMFV" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>DMFV</span></a> for their great lobbying!
