We had a frost last night and there was some frosty dandelions out this morning. </p><p><a href="https://pagan.plus/tags/bloomScroling" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>bloomScroling</span></a></p>
Les pensées ornent souvent les vasques et les jardinières publiques et la version cultivée offre des combinaisons de couleurs variées qui apportent assurément une touche de gaieté en toutes saisons.
Mais comme souvent, la pensée cultivée est à l'origine une plante sauvage, la viola tricolore en l'espèce. La pensée sauvage est de la même famille que la violette et comme cette dernière elle doit son nom à ses couleurs, le violet étant la dominante.
La pensée sauvage est aussi utilisée en herboristerie puisqu'elle a des vertus médicinales.
Si en français, elle s'appelle pensée, elle porte bien des noms dans d'autres langues. En allemand, par exemple, elles sont appelées "belles-mères" (Stiefmütterchen) ou encore "ange-bleu" (Blauwe Engel) en néerlandais. Shakespeare aurait également fait allusion à la "wild pansy" dans son oeuvre "Un songe d'une nuit d'été" dans lequel il parle de "love-in-idleness" (amour en attente), un des noms donnés à cette délicate fleur.
Outre ces trois exemples, la jolie pensée en a bien d'autres dans ces trois langues... On pourra en lire d'avantage sur la page WIkipédia consacrée à la plante.
En voici quelques-unes photographiées à Arlon pour le plaisir des yeux et avec quelques gouttes de rosée, c'est encore plus joli (à mon avis!)
