Ruben Schade :runbsd:🇦🇺🇸🇬<p>It's interesting how NextDC and Equinix differ in their security.</p><p>Equinix has airlocks, NextDC has individual pods that sometimes even work.</p><p>Equinix will send alerts about planned maintenance. NextDC does too, but they require explicit acknowledgement of receipt.</p><p>Equinix's security desks are always staffed during office hours, and pingable after hours. NextDC's desks are a crapshoot.</p><p>Both are light years ahead of Vocus, but that shouldn't come as a surprise <a href="https://bsd.network/tags/ausnog" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#<span>ausnog</span></a></p>
