I've been revisiting Steven Universe, and the official "full season" uploads on youtube are awful. They cut out massive parts of every episode, to the point that it's incoherent. It's like trying to watch the show with someone who keeps fastforwarding to their favorite parts.

On this date (April 17) in 1937, a duck later known as Daffy made his debut in a cartoon called Porky’s Duck Hunt, which was animated by Bob Clampett and directed by Tex Avery. Daffy was an unnamed duck in this black and white short, and he was something new to moviegoers-- an assertive, combative, screwball, totally unrestrained character. Audiences were buzzing about this ‘daffy’ duck.
Daffy was really the first screwball character in cartoons. He was given the name 'Daffy' later, in his first color cartoon in 1939.
