That was a LOT of fun, and made for us two custom, unique breach magi that we can use in (re-)playing the New Age box and then the Outcasts campaign.All in all, loved it. jakob42Nach fast 2 Monaten Pause haben wir nun endlich Aons Ende Legacy beendet. 🎉 Es hat wirklich Spaß gemacht und der letzte Kampf hätte auch Mal wieder anders ausgehen können wenn die zweite Karte des Gegners nicht als letzte im Reihenfolgenstapel gelegen hätte. 😅 Cooles Spiel, war ein super Einstieg in Aeons End. It has nice fixes certain problems with its predecessor, is just sideways enough to be different, and is still early enough in its lifespan that catching up to a complete collection isn't *that* expensive yet (unlike, say, Netrunner).All the same, it's hard to justify when I'm already ~$800 into the original, especially since it's still close enough that it feels like I'm being sold a lot of familiar pieces a second time.<a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/boardgames" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#boardgames</a>

I'd guess the series accounts for about 350 of my 1400 plays for the year.If we're counting them individually it's still Aeon's End, since I played the second Legacy game ~100 times in mid-July alone, for scientific purposes. Vielleicht liegt's an der Wahl/Kombination aus Karten und Upgrades, die die Gruppe so hat und vielleicht auch der Mitspielerzahl.

17M d20s in a Trenchcoat<a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/boardgames" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#boardgames</a> night was <a href="https://mastodon.social/tags/AeonsEnd" class="mention hashtag" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">#AeonsEnd</a> (3P win vs Risen Thrall) and two games I haven't played since before the pandemic: Lorenzo il Magnifico (7.6/10) and The Magnificent (8.7/10).It's been long enough that I forgot where the noob traps were and got crushed in both, but they're still good. (Incidentally, the noob traps are being demonstrated in the photos I stole from BGG.)Maybe I'll bring old favorites only (2+ years since last played) to all the game nights in July.
