Jake Coppinger<p>Sydney’s phenomenal new metro takes only ~100 seconds (1m40s) to travel from Central Station to the new Waterloo Station. However, you could be stuck waiting up to ~111 seconds (1m 51s) to cross Botany Rd just outside the Waterloo metro station when you arrive!</p><p>Don’t believe me? Association Vélo Besançon<p>La limitation de vitesse à 30 km/h est à l’origine une vitesse abaissée à titre exceptionnel, parce que la situation demande une vigilance accrue de la part de l’usager : les abords d’une école, d’un hôpital, la présence de piétons en grand nombre, des intersections où la visibilité est diminuée…</p><p><strong>Nos villes sont des espaces de vie partagés par tous : </strong>écoliers, parents avec poussette, personnes âgées, personnes à mobilité réduite, automobilistes, cyclistes, usagers de trottinettes de tous âges… La cohabitation des uns et des autres peut parfois être source de tensions et d’anxiété. <strong>Ensemble, mobilisons-nous pour que nos villes soient plus sures, plus conviviales, plus belles.</strong></p><p>Généraliser le 30km/h est une vraie opportunité pour réduire les incidents et favoriser une meilleure cohabitation sur l’espace public.
