@s1m0n4 @ueeu It's not a direct equivalen, as it only covers part of the use cases of PayPal, but SEPA Core Direct Debit allows to revoke a transaction, and you get the money refunded.

@soulsource @ueeu I don't have that with my bank. SEPA is the standard protocol for money transfer AFAIK.

I don't understand how a refund would be triggered either because I do not have a "ask for a refund" button on my online banking platform.

On the other hand it's super easy to open a litigation on . Their customer support is top notch too. They reply within a working day.

@s1m0n4 And that is one reason sellers hate PayPal: they are always on the customer side, even when the customer isn't right. From the customer point of view the service is great. @ueeu

@zbrando @ueeu in my case I was right. I didn't receive the shipment and the seller wasn't responding to my complaint.
Another time it was a fraudulent service.

@s1m0n4 I belive you, just telling that there are scams on both sides and that even a misunderstanding can trigger a refund and the seller is at loss. And all the problems to get the money out and the costs...

@zbrando vacation rentals on Booking have similar issues. Landlords complain a lot about Booking always taking the customer's side.
