The track people always skip when playing the album, but the juxtaposition of the evening news broadcast with the greatest carol of them all is so simple and effective. It's 1966; it's 2022. Nothing has changed. Timeless.
@PGJ it's a great track. I had no idea who half the people referred to were as a child in the early 80s, but it still had powerful resonance. That's only grown with time as I know more about the events.
