@MeanwhileinCanada BACK TO THE FUTURE.
BTW what about dementia and Michael J. Fox... and what about dementia and that annoying orange?
@carbon_compound @MeanwhileinCanada what about them?
@MeanwhileinCanada b-but both sides are the same! They have to be, right?
@MeanwhileinCanada Love it, but I think the UK is running sideways...
…and Australia is just laying down in a sunbed.
@873 @MeanwhileinCanada yep, since the Brexit. But EU doesn't really go forward those days.
@MeanwhileinCanada Great image.
@MeanwhileinCanada wow… amazing image lol.
@MeanwhileinCanada Yes, but thinking that voting is enough is what gets you fascism.
@MeanwhileinCanada idk if the UK belongs facing the correct direction
@MeanwhileinCanada Yeah, I think you’re a bit optimistic about the UK in that one.
@aral @MeanwhileinCanada yeah. The UK is running laps on it's own, miniature, walled off track
@aral@mastodon.ar.al @MeanwhileinCanada@ohai.social
Not just them. In the EU there are strong nationalist/reactionary movements as well, in some countries even in government, and Hungary already is (about) where Trump wants to go.
@mort @aral @MeanwhileinCanada yes. there are dangerous tendencies in europe from years, and theyre growing :( . orban in hungary. salvini+meloni in italy, le pen in france, afd in germany, fico in slovakia, pis+konfa in poland, nationalists parties in sweden+austria+maybe somewhere else i forgot...
hard times are there already
@MeanwhileinCanada if you want it to be more accurate, flip the image so that the racers are going in the same direction as the political compass
@MeanwhileinCanada exactly how I feel living in the US right now
@MeanwhileinCanada 'Cept UK should be starting further back, having already run that way with #Brexit
